Why Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus is my favorite book

Image
The best book ever is Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus because it was my favorite from when I was little. My mom used to always read it to me and my brother at least once a week before bed. I always begged my parents to read it to me because I loved it that much. It’s about this pigeon who is not allowed to drive the bus driver’s bus, and you’re in charge of making sure he doesn’t while the driver is away. The pigeon keeps begging and trying to make you let him drive the bus. He tries to bribe you and gives lots of hilarious and crazy reasons why he should drive the bus. I recommend this book because it was always really fun to read and enjoy.

You need to read A Monster Calls

Image
A Monster Calls is a beautiful story about a young boy, struggling with his mother's illness, and receiving help from a monster who comes at the same time every night, looking for one thing and one thing a lone, "The truth." This book will take you on an incredible journey through this young boys head. I love this book because it explores some of the most complex emotions of it's main character, and still keeps you hooked throughout the entire book. It is mysterious, and brings up many interesting questions about morality, which  you will spend hours pondering. Everyone should read this amazing book.

Why you should read the book Stargirl

Image
My favorite book that I have read is Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli. I believe that this book is interesting because it shows how a girl adapted to be in high school. The book Stargirl is about a girl who is a sophomore in highschool, she has been homeschooled and it is her first year in a public school. She brings uniqueness to the high school and shows everyone it is good to be different. The kids are influenced by her to become different and soon, all around the school, you see individuality. You see the point of view from a boy and how he perceives Stargirl compared to everyone else. This book portrays a message that everyone should be their own person and be unique. I recommend this book because it explains a very important life lesson.

"We work in the dark to serve the light..."

Assassin's Creed is a series of unique ideas where the end is only the beginning. I feel like that characters are developed in a detailed and relatable way. The story line makes you feel like you need to keep flipping the page, continuing the dangerous, daring journey of the characters.Even though this is a story with multiple fight scenes, it is described with accurate specifics, drawing out each move and elaborating the uses of each weapon. All in all, I would recommend this book to those who are interested in action genres.

A Camp Story Is My Favorite Book Of All Time

Image
A Camp Story by David Himmel is my favorite book of all time. This book is the history of how Lake of the Woods and Greenwoods Camps started. I found this book very interesting because it tells about certain traditions at camp that we still do today. Also, A Camp Story talks a lot about the starter of the camp, and how he grew up and found his love for these camps. That makes the book interesting because the starter, Louis Greenberg, grew up in the early 1900s, and at first the thought of owning a camp never entered his mind. Also, the book talks about all the past owners of the camp, and how the camp has changed over the years. I love this book and I think you should read it!

Best Book in the world!

This is the lake that Lake Of The Woods and Greenwoods camp is located at. My favorite book is a Camp Story by David Himmel. It is my favorite book in the world. It is about how Greenwoods and Lake Of The Wood Camp started and its history. It show how a lot of the huge traditions are still going on. The camp started because Louis and Florence Greenberg bought a huge space of land off a lake named lake of the woods in the middle of Decatur Michigan. They liked working with kids and they wanted to give kids the experience to go the overnight camp. They owned the camp for a while until the Seeger family bought out the camp and later sold it to Dayna Hardin. I love the book because this camp is my favorite place in the world. It is a wonderful book where you learn so much about Lake Of The Woods and Greenwoods and how it was the be a New york Orphen in the 1900s.

DIARY OF A WIMPY KID

Image
My favorite book is Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney. They made 11 books and the 12 one is coming out soon. It is my favorite book because it is funny and good. It's about a boy in middle school and he is talking about all the experiences he has in it. In the book he talks about his life at home and talks about his life at school. He has two brothers one who is older than him and gives tips to him. His older brother Rodrick is funny and messes around with Greg the boy who is the in middle school. He also has a younger brother Manny who is young and Greg likes to fool around with Manny but always gets into trouble. Its very funny and all the books are just as funny as the one before it. I give these books all 5 stars and I recommend it to people who are in 5th grade.

Why Fantasy League is my favorite book

Image
My favorite book when I was young was Fantasy League by Mike Lupica. I always loved football and fantasy football (even though I am bad at it) when I was little and still today. Fantasy League is about this kid who lives in L.A and has à football team named the Bulldogs. He, was so good that his friend grandpa hired (not really) him to join the team as a coach. They were bad and didn’t have a lot of talent but thanks to this kid they had a shot. They get to t he playoffs and made it all the way to the Superbowl. Will they win or lose?

Why you should read the book Everything, Everything

Image
My favorite book that I have read so far has definitely been Everything, Everything because of how it just pulls you in and makes you want to keep reading. In the book Maddy is diagnosed with severe combined immunodeficiency disease, which means you can’t be exposed to the germs and bacteria. Her mom decided that it would be safer for her to stay inside and never go out. While she is sitting inside her room she sees a boy that is her new neighbor and instantly likes him, but he has no idea she can’t leave her house. This part of the book was very interesting to me because it portrayed a very important message. Everything, Everything is my favorite book because it showed me a side to the world that I have never seen. I highly recommend the book.

Why Legend is My Favorite Book

Image
Legend By: Marie Lu is a book that is based off of a dystopian universe where two people from completely different sides of a spectrum, a super rich teenager that is a "prodigy" named June and a teenager that lives in the streets fending for himself named Day . This story is full of detail and an extremely complex story-line that really immerses you into the world of the future. In this time period the United States had been separated into the Republic and the Colonies, June is from the Republic and Day has been kicked off to the side of streets by the Republic and lives on the borders. These two managed to find their ways into each others live and find a place for each other in their lives while dealing with death and problems in their government.

Why You NEED To Read The Book The Power of Six

Image
The Power of Six is the second book in the I am Number Four series. This is a science fiction book that is about teenagers that came to Earth because their planet was taken over by Mogadorians. There are nine of them and three of them were already killed by the Mogs. Oh, if I forgot to mention, these teens have special abilities like making things fly or stop in mid-air. Number One was killed in Malaysia, Number Two was killed in England, and Number Three was killed in Kenya. Up next is Number Four. The main character John Smith who was almost killed in Ohio by the Mogadorians, teams up with Number Six for an action packed ride of a book. What happens next? Do the Mogadorians kill John and Number Six? Do the teenagers eliminate the Mogadorians. Read the book and the rest of the series to find out?

Iqbal Is The Best Book Ever

Image
My favorite book I have ever read was Iqbal by Francesco D’Adamo. I read it in fifth grade and I loved it. The main reason I like the book is because it was realistic and dark. I remember after I finished I thought about how the events that happen in Iqbal , happen in real life and that made me sad, but I was glad I read the book. Iqbal was a dark book, but I like books like those and gave a piece of reality that happens in the world and it is terrible. I really enjoyed reading the book even if it was dark. My favorite part was when child labor was finally declared illegal and Iqbal told the person who lead the group about where he lives. I loved when they finally got there and the owner of the child labor house was begging to not put him in jail. They did and all the kids escaped.

a WONDERful book

Image
My favorite book is Wonder by Raquel J. Palacio. The first time I read this book, I couldn’t put it down, and I have read this book at least three times since. At some parts Wonder is a very uplifting and funny story, but at others, tears will be streaming down your face. August Pullman is a boy who was born a very rare medical facial deformity and a cleft palate. The story is about at the challenges that Auggie faces throughout his life and how he overcomes them. It also teaches the reader many valuable lessons. Wonder as truly touched the hearts of all it's readers. If you have not read this book, I highly recommend it.

No David!

Image
My favorite book ever would be No David by David Shannon. This book really had a personal connection to me. The story is about David doing things he isn't supposed to do. This reminds me of when I was young because I always would do stuff that I wasn't supposed to do. I would always play inside and roll around in the mud. I would always get muddy and my mom would always yell at me “Andrew Stop!” After I got yelled at I would always something else like try to start the car. I was always doing something I wasn't supposed to do. Me and my dog where partner is crime when it came to doing stuff we weren't supposed to This book is a must read if you haven’t read it when you were young.

The Million Dollar Shot

Image
One of my favorite book of all time would probably have to be the Million Dollar Shot by Dan Gutman. This book is one of my favorites because it is a basketball story of course and shows the struggle of one of the main characters and how he finally has a chance to win a million dollars and shows what he and his friends do to prepare for it. This book gives details not many books have gave before (precise). It shows the main characters everyday life and what he has to go through. The ending is also one of my favorites. There are many other books such as the million dollar goal etc… If i had to rate this book i would give it a 5 star. If i also could recommend it to any people i would have to recommend it to sports players or people who like books that make you a little antsy to know what's going to happen.

This is Where it Ends is the best book I have ever read

Image
"Everyone has a reason to fear the boy with the gun" This is Where it Ends is the best book I have ever read. I really enjoyed this book, because it was a very emotional book, and was very different than anything I have previously read. It is so cool how all of the characters are connected, and it was so interesting, in the moment, when it all played out. Also, the book is written within a span of 54 minutes, and every chapter, at the beginning of it has a time frame that it is happening in. (ex. 10:05-10:07) This book is about a school, that is the perfect school. All of a sudden after a presentation in the auditorium, at 10:05, someone starts shooting. The whole book is told from four different perspectives, and it is written in such a way, that we can feel the pain, and the misery that the characters are feeling. The end has a very emotional, and sad ending, that has stuck with me since the day I read it, and it will do the same to you.

My Favorite Book WONDER!

Image
The book Wonder was a very inspirational read. I’ve heard many teachers and students talking in front of a class about how it’s always important to not judge a book by it’s cover, and treat people fairly. Wonder allowed us to see his story from not only his eyes, but other point of views. Auggie- the main character- didn’t look even close to the same as others, and showed us what it was like to feel how he did, and experience the challenges he faced. The author inspired many children and adults including me. This book really touched me and I loved reading it.
