Why you should read the book Stargirl

My favorite book that I have read is Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli. I believe that this book is interesting because it shows how a girl adapted to be in high school. The book Stargirl is about a girl who is a sophomore in highschool, she has been homeschooled and it is her first year in a public school. She brings uniqueness to the high school and shows everyone it is good to be different. The kids are influenced by her to become different and soon, all around the school, you see individuality. You see the point of view from a boy and how he perceives Stargirl compared to everyone else. This book portrays a message that everyone should be their own person and be unique. I recommend this book because it explains a very important life lesson.

    I loved Stargirl! It was really groundbreaking at the time to write about someone who was different and stayed true to herself.

Her Story Hannah Agins My best friend, Lillian, finally told me her story. She never talked about her life really, besides the fact that she was adopted.
